Overview
The project begins with Aldo Rossi’s idea of urban artifacts: civic places such as markets, theaters, and cemeteries that hold a city’s memory. In Nuuk, cultural identity also lives in routes, landscapes, fishing grounds, seasonal gathering, and relationships with the sea. The proposal treats these physical and spiritual memories as the basis for growth rather than as objects isolated from everyday life.
