Ordinary, Except

A Triple-Decker Arts Community

Dorchester, Boston, MA · 2023

Overview

Dorchester’s triple-decker is treated as an ordinary type with an exceptional social capacity. The project connects its histories of migration, economic struggle, and community life with graffiti and hip-hop culture—forms of expression that claim space, build visibility, and transform hardship into collective identity.
